Eight paragliders meet with accident in Pokhara (Photo Features)

POKHARA, March 1: Some eight paragliders that flew from Sarangkot have met with an accident on Tuesday afternoon. Seven paragliders fell in Fewa Lake and one got stuck in a tree in Armala.

Kaski Police Chief SP Ghanshyam Aryal said that paragliders lost their control due to strong wind and fell into the lake.

Out of seven paragliders that fell in the lake, two have been rescued alive and search for five others is underway, according to police.

Police added that the paraglider that met with an accident in Armala is safe.

The paragliders were competing in Paragliding pre-World Cup and Open Nepal Paragliding Competition.
