Nepal government has asked clarification from Nepal
Oil Corporation Managing Director Gopal Khadka over alleged anomaly
charges . The board meeting of NOC chaired by Commerce Secretary Naindra
Prasad Upadhyay on Friday asked him to furnish written clarification
within seven days, a board member told Republica seeking anonymity.Gopal
Bahadur Khadka was appointed as the Managing Director of Nepal Oil
Corporation, a state-owned trading company to deal with the import,
transportation, storage and distribution of various petroleum products
in the country effective from 14 Magh 2071. A Civil Engineer graduated
from The Institue of Engineers, India with Master in Construction
Management from Pokhara University, he has been actively involved in
various government and public projects in the past. He has served in
several managerial post from many years and has taken some key
initiatives to make the overall working environment a robust, efficient
and effective one.
