New NC CWC members (open) results in next two days

KATHMANDU, March 9: The final results of new Central Working Committee (CWC) members (open category) is expected in next two days, Nepali Congress (NC) election committee member Gopal Krishna Ghimire said on Wednesday. However, the final results of all the CWC members, including reservation seats, are expected in a week.

The committee had decided to continue vote counts only till 6 pm every day. Meanwhile, Bimalendra Nidhi (88 votes), Pradeep Giri (87 votes), Mahesh Acharya (87 votes), Bal Krishna Khand (86 votes), Kul Bahadur Gurung (85 votes) and Purna Bahadur Khadka (84 votes) are in the top ten list in first 150 votes count. 90 contenders are contesting for 25 CWC members posts.
The final results of the open category are expected by next two days, the election committee said on Wednesday.
