Feb 26, 2016- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called on the disgruntled Madhes- based parties to give up their agitation and come on board the government.
Addressing CPN-UML’s Lumbini Zonal assembly in Bhairahawa on Friday, PM Oli called on the protesters to give up their strikes, shutdowns and violence and join hands for development activities.
“Nepali Congress is also outside the government,” said PM Oli, “NC and Madhes-based parties should join the government with a determination to develop the country.”
He said that emigrating youths should be mobilised in country through skill development and industrialisation. “Establishment of agriculture-based industries should be given priority to make the country self reliant.”
PM Oli said that activities of propagating false rumours on constitution should be immediately stopped. “Demands that are against country’s interests will not be addressed,” said PM Oli.
PM Oli expressed commitment to eliminate corruption and take ahead development activities. He said that his recent visit to India has helped in removing the misunderstanding between Nepal and India.
