KATHMANDU: With the help of Nawayug Shrestha’s hat-trick, Nepal defeated Maldives 4-1 in the semifinals of Bangabandhu Gold Cup at the Bangabandhu International Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday evening.
Shrestha scored his first goal on the 31st minute, and added two more in the second half, including one in the first minute of added four-minute stoppage time.

Nepal will meet Bahrain, which beat the hosts Bangladesh 1-0, in the final scheduled for Friday.
