Sadbhawana Chairman Mahato arrives in Kathmandu
Jan 17, 2016- Chairman of Sadbhawana Party Rajendra Mahato has returned to the Capital on Sunday.
He had gone to Indian Capital New Delhi for treatment three weeks back after he was injured in a clash with police while staging sit-in at Biratnagar-Jogbani border crossing. Following preliminary treatment at Biratnagar and Daharan, Mahato went to Delhi for further treatment.
After treatment at Haryana-based Medanta hospital, Mahato met Indian President Pranav Mukharjee, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, and leader of opposition party Indian Congress Rajul Gandhi
He is scheduled to meet Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli later today.
Talking
to media persons upon his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport,
leader Mahato said he came to Kathmandu after PM Oli telephoned him and
assured to meet the demands of Madhes.
