Apr 14, 2016- Keeping the tradition alive, Juju Bhai Basha Shrestha had his tongue pierced for the eighth consecutive time as part of Bisket Jatra festival here in Bode of Madhyapur Thimi, Bhaktapur on Thursday.
The festival is celebrated every year on Baisakh 2 as a part of Bisket Jatra observed by people from Newar community in Bhaktapur district. The festival welcomes the Nepali New Year and marks the arrival of spring season.
