April 9, 2016: SLC (School Leaving Certificate) for year 2072 has finished yesterday. The trend for giving special SIM offer
for SLC students has been there from quite some years and this year is
no different. Nepal Telecom, the government owned telco has brought
special SIM offer for SLC appeared students, to be made available from
29th of Chaitra 2072 till end of Ashad 2073.
With the offer, SLC
appeared students can subscribe GSM prepaid SIM card at Rs 90 with Rs 50
main balance and get 300 MB data free (50 MB data per month for 6
months). Students need to present SLC 2072 Admit card, Students or
Parents citizenship or any Valid ID issued by Government and a photo.
They need to fill up the regular form and get the SIM card instantly
from nearest NT distribution counters and Authorized dealers.

Now that NT has launched this SIM offer for SLC appeared students, Ncell is also known to follow suit with similar offers.
